Breadwinner Breads FAQ
About Our Bread
What is the shelf-life of the bread? Our homemade bread—made with no preservatives—will stay fresh for one week on the counter, two weeks in the refrigerator, two months in the freezer.
Can the breads be refrozen? Absolutely. All Breadwinner loaves can be frozen in the packaging in which they arrive. For extra protection from freezer burn, place the packaged loaf in a zippered freezer storage bag. You may also freeze individual slices in smaller freezer bags.
Do your breads contain nuts? All of our breads are baked in a facility that uses nuts. In addition, our peach bread contains almond extract, and the toffee sprinkled on our mocha chocolate chip bread contains almonds.
Do you offer a sugar-free or a gluten-free loaf? Not at this time.
Do you offer smaller loaves? We currently ship only our original 2-pound loaves. Smaller loaves are available for purchase in our cafe/store.
Which is the most popular bread? We sell crazy amounts of our Papa Don't Peach bread, thanks to the recommendation by our friends at the Food Network.
How do I know which breads are available? We'll eventually have all of our breads available year-round, but until we do, call our store at 404-843-0224 or visit the Breads page on this site to find out which ones we’re baking right now.
About Orders and Shipping
Do you ship outside the United States? Sorry, we don't. With customs, shipping costs, and travel times, it doesn't make financial sense for us or our customers, and the bread doesn't do well on long trips.
What kinds of payment do you accept? We accept all major credit cards, along with cash and checks in the cafe/store.
Can I include a personal note in the package? Of course. Just type your message in the “gift card text” field when you place an online order or give your message to us over the phone for phone orders.
What shipping provider do you use? We ship most of our orders via FedEx. We also use the U.S. Postal Service for our friends in WA, OR, AK, and HI and we cannot ship via FedEx Ground to those states.
Can I have a tracking number for my package? Sure, for all packages shipped via FedEx (USPS Priority Mail doesn't have standard tracking) you will get the tracking number via e-mail when your order is shipped. If you didn't get that mail, just give us a call at 404-843-0224, or send us an e-mail request at contactus@breadwinnerbreads.com, and we’ll be happy to provide the number. Please note that if you contact us during the holiday season, it will take us longer to respond to tracking-number inquiries.
When will my bread be shipped? Please see our shipping details page for all this information.
Can I get faster shipping? Absolutely. We can use FedEx overnight or 2-Day if you need to get your order quickly. Faster shipping is more expensive and takes more arrangement on our side, so please call us at 404-823-0224 to make arrangements before placing your order.
Why didn’t I receive a confirmation e-mail stating my order has been placed? While this rarely happens, it can occur. Simply call us at 404-843-0224 to confirm that we received the order.
I haven't heard from my recipient; can you let me know the package was delivered? We’ll be happy to confirm that for you if you call or e-mail us. Please note that if you call during the holiday season, it will take us longer to respond to inquiries about delivery status.
Do you offer any discounts for large orders? Again, please call us to discuss shipping discounts. We cannot, unfortunately, offer discounts during November and December.
