SPECIAL NOTE: CURRENT DELIVERY SCHEDULE
Thanks for a great holiday season! Because of the upcoming FedEx delivery schedule and the requirements of shipping fresh bread, we can no longer deliver orders before Christmas. Additionally, any order placed between Thursday, Dec. 22 and January 2, 2012 will ship on January 3rd, 2012 due to the same schedule and requirements.
Thanks again, and please contact us at contactus@breadwinnerbreads.com or at 404-823-0224 with any questions.
We're a pretty funny and light-hearted bunch here at Breadwinner, but there's one thing we take very seriously - the freshness of our bread. We use no preservatives, so everything we sell must be shipped quickly and correctly to arrive at its finest.
We do everything we can to make sure that every order is bakery fresh. We've had to put a few conditions on our shipping to make this happen. To us, it's the only way to provide the best product we can to our friends, and we know you understand. So ...
We can only ship when we're sure your order won't sit in a warehouse over the weekend. This means that, depending on the destination, we may need to wait to ship until we're as sure as we can be that your order gets there by Saturday (Friday for businesses) and won't be left alone in some far-away shipping facility. If you have a certain date in mind, we welcome your call so we can work together to get your order their on time.
We use different carriers to reach some states. For most of the continental U.S., we use FedEx Ground, and we can do Overnight or 2-Day if you call and ask before placing your order. For OR, WA, HI, and AK, we use USPS Priority Mail, unless you specifically call and ask for expedited FedEx shipping. FedEx Ground is not available to those states. Why? Because we've found that it simply takes too long for the bread to be fresh on arrival.
Sometimes, shipping our bread is expensive. We're really sorry about this, and if we could find a way to get it to you fast, fresh, and cheap, we'd use it in a heartbeat. However, until we can teleport it directly to your door, the shipping we've choosen is the best method to get you the best product, and that shipping costs more than mailing other, less fresh and tasty stuff by the slow boat.
